A-10 Thunderbolt II

First flown in 1972, The Fairchild Republic (but now Boeing) A-10 Thunderbolt II (Warthog) is the worlds dominant close-support aircraft. The A-10 is used against ground targets, including tanks and other armoured vehicles. Due to recent modifications of this incredibly dependable platform, particularly a new wing design with some details produced by Impresa Aerospace, it’s estimated that the craft is likely to remain in service until 2040.
