Gardena, CA (April 14, 2014) Impresa Aerospace, a leading supplier to the commercial and military aerospace industries, is pleased to introduce Mr. Paul Duff as General Manager of the company’s Wichita facility. An accomplished leader with a background in engineering, Paul brings a total of 28 years experience – 16 within the aerospace industry – to the job.

As General Manager, Paul will draw upon a wealth of Operations and Supply Chain Management experience. Paul comes to Impresa from Millennium Concepts, Inc. (Wichita, KS) where he served as Vice President, Programs and Supply Chain Management. During his tenure with Millennium, Paul had operational responsibility over procurement, inventory control, and materials management. Prior to Millennium Concepts, Paul garnered additional operations and manufacturing experience with Quest Aircraft Company (Sandpoint, ID), as well as Wichita-based Raytheon and ICM, Inc.

Although Paul’s most recent specialization has been in the aerospace industry, he is a well-rounded executive with extensive experience in strategic business development, organizational planning, and business process management. “Paul is exactly the type of team member we are looking for. Not only does he fully understand the aerospace industry, he brings unique experience and insights from other industries and disciplines,” states Impresa CEO Scott Smith.

Paul received his MBA from Leicester University in the United Kingdom, and a B.A. in Procurement and Logistics from St. Helens Business College.

Impresa is a leading supplier to the aerospace industry, boasting major contracts with Boeing, Spirit Aerosystems, Sikorsky, Lockheed Martin and Gulfstream. Notable commercial programs include the Boeing 787, 777, 747, 737; Airbus A330 and A340; and Gulfstream G50. Regarding defense-related programs, Boeing’s Apache Helicopter, C-17 and F-18; Sikorsky’s Black Hawk helicopter and the Lockheed Martin C130 are among the company’s most illustrious contracts.

The company operates two facilities — a 100,000 square foot Gardena, CA plant, along with the 40,000 square foot Wichita, KS plant — where it provides a comprehensive array of engineering, manufacturing and assembly services. The company is noted for supplying OEMs with high-quality, low-cost precision CNC-machined and sheet metal parts and assemblies. Together, the Impresa facilities employ approximately 350 machinists, engineers and support staff and will account for more than $60 million in annual sales.
